Finn, who was geared up to become a main character, became almost non existent. The only relevant part was what he wanted to tell Rey (I think the writers were letting the audience guess it was the same old cheesy line that he loves her, but we never get to find out.
There was so much going on that even characters that we do care about got forgotten. When Chewie "died" no one batted an eyelid. The same goes for kylo ren when palpatine force pushed him into an abyss.
The knights of ren might as well have not been there. They didn't do a lot and weren't convincing warriors.
That kiss at the end between kylo and Rey. What in the name of all that is holy was that about? On a side note, how many times did they want to revive each other?
Overall it was a rushed film that was already at a disadvantage and this last trilogy may as well just be forgotten about.
